Childhood Revisited 6 (Art Show)

My Pinup for Mystery Afoot Issue #2

Here goes a pretty quick Pinup I created for Max Bare of OhNo!Doom and his second Book, Mystery Afoot issue #2. Its debut and official release will be at the up and coming TCAF (The Toronto Comic Arts Festival) on Friday, May 13th 2016. If not in town for the event, the book will be available in finer shops as well as made available for online purchases, soon after.

My Piece for the Mythical Creatures Art Show

Here goes a piece that I completed for the up and coming Mythical Creatures, Group Art Show at Sideshow Gallery. Opening night will be Saturday, April 23rd from 7 to 11pm. The piece was completed pretty quick with just a brush and ink on paper. I like to work this way without underlying pencils to have that inspirational feel to a piece sometimes. Trinquette Publishing

While I was digging through some of my older work last week, I also stumbled
upon a last minute campaign I created for Trinquette Publishing.

I designed and put together in less then a two week stretch :)

My Halloween Session @ Atomic Sketch

Here's another quickie from when I was on the Artists Panel, at last month's Halloween Atomic Sketch session. I did this one as a warm up straight from a brush with ink. Sorry for such a bad pic but it sold before I could snap a still of it. The person that bought it from me was nice enough to send me this shot. She took it while I was in the process of creating it.

This may also be used as a reference point for a mural project that I will head. It will be placed on the wall of a VIP room in a new downtown Chicago dance club that will be opening next year.

Made it into Beautiful Bizarre Magazine

Beautiful Bizarre Magazine has recently made mention of “Curioddities”, The Annual Dark Arts Exhibition that I am a part of. Opening night was a smash and a total sellout for Volume 2 of my Little Book of Monsters.

My work along with other leading dark artists can still be viewed, as well as purchased through the gallery.

THE ANNUAL DARK ARTS EXHIBITION "CURIODDITES"

I am very pleased to announce that I will be a featured artist at this years ANNUAL DARK ARTS EXHIBITION "CURIODDITES", hosted by the world famous Gallery Provocateur.

I am also happy to announce that I will also be hosting the Official Book Release to Little Book of Monsters volume 2, this evening and In celebration of this release, I was fortunate enough to bring to the walls of the gallery, artists from this volume as well.

The Opening Cocktail Reception that opens the show is this up and coming Saturday, November 7th. The Gallery doors will open at 8:00PM.

This is somewhat of a special show for me, due to a few other artists that have had there work also shown in the gallery. These artists helped show me the road to becoming an artist myself and finding my way into this genre of art.

These legendary artists consisted of Frank Frazetta, H.R. Giger, Boris Vallejo and Clive Barker. Four of the most influential artists from my past. It is a great honor to also be displayed on these walls and I hope you can find the time to visit this evening.

I just came across this little quickie that I did at a live
art session at Atomic Sketch in July. I was just cleaning
up and making room on my phone and stumbled upon it.
Sorry for such a terrible image. It was the only one I
took and looked fine on the phone at the time, but I
guess with a few in you, even bad pictures look good
to you and not just people :) It's the only one I now
have due to a pretty quick sale just after it's completion
that night........ I totally forgot about this one. I was
trying out a few techniques with the brush, I've been
trying to develop.

Here goes a lone survivor of mine. I created this one pretty quick on
day one of this years, Draw Until You Puke. Totally forgot about it. I
unfortunately spilled a drink and destroyed the rest of my work from
that evening :(
