of the best parts of being a part of most conventions for me these
days, is not only being able to show off new projects or even getting
the chance to start new ones. It's being able to see old friends and
catch up with, I haven't seen in sometime.
I was fortunate
enough to run into my old buddy, Bob Camp, co-creator of Ren &
Stimpy and was able to find sometime to hangout and catch-up for a bit,
before he had to get back to his table and me to a meeting.
Just a few progress shots from my work on this piece that I had created for the Grassroots, 1 year, anniversary show. The Show will be hosted by the Movement Gallery, here in Chicago. For further information, please click on the following link: https://www.facebook.com/events/1893019997648401/
I recently received my professional pass for this years C2E2. If anyone is planning on visiting the show that weekend, I have one open slot left for a commissioned piece. Please inbox me if interested. First come, first served.
Please join me along with a bunch of my fellow Chicago artists as we
wreck havoc on art history and the museums that host it! March 1st from
9pm to 4am at the East Room, located in Logan Square, will mark the
place that this will happen. Stop in to witness this devastation for
yourself as you experience the amazing drink menus that will be on hand,
as well as the live music that will make your feet move to the beat.
Nick Fisher's Art Museum is one art show, you will not want to miss!

So, I kind of put this thing together at the last minute and did not expect it to take off so fast.
I have been meaning to do this for sometime though, but never could find the necessary time to put one together.
This current event was not really exposed or promoted to the public
until now, but needless to say, I have decided to make this an annual
event in hopes of bringing together the many talented and diverse
artists, Chicago has to offer.
This is just my first step of
many to come, that I believe will help strengthen our community as a
whole, as well as help the rest of the world view us as a city of
strong, progressive and talented artists that live here.
Friends, please join me along side an amazing group of Chicago
artists, this up and coming Friday evening (February 3rd) at the Pilsen

I hope the October month long of Halloween was as good, if not better for you, then mine.
It's been a great honor to be able to offer yet another volume of my
Little BOOK of MONSTERS to you and the artists that help make them
possible. Thank you all once again, without all the support of the very
talented artists as well as the people, specialty bookstores and
galleries around the world that support
and handle the sales of these books, this would not be possible. So
again, I thank everyone with all my hart for the support that helps me
put together this very unique book and without further a do, it gives me
great pleasure in offering Volume 3 of Rodney Dollah's Little BOOK of
MONSTERS to you and the world.
Friday the 14th, I will be a featured artist in the F*cking Ridiculous
Art Show, here in Logan Square. The guys and girls at Pipeworks are one
of the main sponsors of the show, so you all know what that means :) So please stop on by for some really cool beer and some even cooler artwork, if in the area.
Please join me in a first of a series of original Anysquared workshops that I have recently put together with the help of Gretchen Hasse that will address and at times may even attack that day old question an artist may have coming up in the world as a professional.
This different kind of interactive workshop will address creating, making a living and ones morals while doing so.
So drop those books and come on down for real world situations and interactivity among the working class artist.
up and coming Friday, I will have my work featured in the Something
Wicked art installation, which opens this evening at the Side Street
Gallery in Elgin. Please join me in celebrating a fantastic opening
show, if in the area.

served its purpose for now. I got tired and then crashed :)
The crew and I just released our new art mag at the Token show last night.

next convention appearances. More event info can be found by clicking on the following link: https://www.facebook.com/events/929525087152682/
