C2E2 2017!

One of the best parts of being a part of most conventions for me these days, is not only being able to show off new projects or even getting the chance to start new ones. It's being able to see old friends and catch up with, I haven't seen in sometime.

I was fortunate enough to run into my old buddy, Bob Camp, co-creator of Ren & Stimpy and was able to find sometime to hangout and catch-up for a bit, before he had to get back to his table and me to a meeting.

Chicago Artists Unite!: Winter Group Art Jam at AIC!

Chicago Artists Unite!: Winter Group Art Jam at the Art Institute of Chicago!

So, I kind of put this thing together at the last minute and did not expect it to take off so fast.

I have been meaning to do this for sometime though, but never could find the necessary time to put one together.

This current event was not really exposed or promoted to the public until now, but needless to say, I have decided to make this an annual event in hopes of bringing together the many talented and diverse artists, Chicago has to offer.

This is just my first step of many to come, that I believe will help strengthen our community as a whole, as well as help the rest of the world view us as a city of strong, progressive and talented artists that live here.
