THE ANNUAL DARK ARTS EXHIBITION "CURIODDITES"

I am very pleased to announce that I will be a featured artist at this years ANNUAL DARK ARTS EXHIBITION "CURIODDITES", hosted by the world famous Gallery Provocateur.

I am also happy to announce that I will also be hosting the Official Book Release to Little Book of Monsters volume 2, this evening and In celebration of this release, I was fortunate enough to bring to the walls of the gallery, artists from this volume as well.

The Opening Cocktail Reception that opens the show is this up and coming Saturday, November 7th. The Gallery doors will open at 8:00PM.

This is somewhat of a special show for me, due to a few other artists that have had there work also shown in the gallery. These artists helped show me the road to becoming an artist myself and finding my way into this genre of art.

These legendary artists consisted of Frank Frazetta, H.R. Giger, Boris Vallejo and Clive Barker. Four of the most influential artists from my past. It is a great honor to also be displayed on these walls and I hope you can find the time to visit this evening.

An ATOMIC SKETCH Halloween!

In the last couple of months, I have been invited to create
art at a handful of events here in Chicago and have been actively
creating somewhat quick and fun pieces live at these art events.

This piece was created at a Dick Blick Art Supplies, sponsored
event with brush and ink on paper.

(Sorry for the bad pic. This piece sold pretty quick and I
did not have the chance to take a better shot...)

I just came across this little quickie that I did at a live
art session at Atomic Sketch in July. I was just cleaning
up and making room on my phone and stumbled upon it.
Sorry for such a terrible image. It was the only one I
took and looked fine on the phone at the time, but I
guess with a few in you, even bad pictures look good
to you and not just people :) It's the only one I now
have due to a pretty quick sale just after it's completion
that night........ I totally forgot about this one. I was
trying out a few techniques with the brush, I've been
trying to develop.

Here goes a lone survivor of mine. I created this one pretty quick on
day one of this years, Draw Until You Puke. Totally forgot about it. I
unfortunately spilled a drink and destroyed the rest of my work from
that evening :(

just a few days ago. It was great to see everyone
again and thanks to all, that came out to support.
